About FDJN
The Fondation Javad Nurbakhsh has been working in humanitarian aid for some 15 years. Our mission is to bring healthcare and social support services to the most vulnerable persons living in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire without any distinction related to origin, religion, beliefs, and political or philosophical convictions.
The foundation is named for its first president, Dr. Javad Nurbakhsh, a psychiatrist, humanist and philanthropist who headed the Nimatullahi Sufi Order, an ancient spiritual path, for 45 years. The current president is Alireza Nurbakhsh, a lawyer and scholar who continues the humanitarian philanthropy of his father.
