Like many health facilities around the world, we too are facing financial challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Our medical center’s operational costs are usually covered by income from the medical center while donations fund our social projects. However, with the pandemic, people are staying home so our operational income has dropped dramatically while basic expenses, such as salaries and maintenance, continue. We are grateful to our generous funders who have kept all of our programs operational during this challenging time.

In early 2025, we completed a major renovation to our physical plant. Our upgrades were focused on modernizing and refurbishing the current structure and improving our use of space. In addition to broad renovations across the facility, we have added an additional floor of capacity to support specialty medical and social services. A revamped electrical system including a new emergency generator now ensures we can continue serving the community during outages.
